This release fixes a couple of significant bugs in
the previous 1.6.0 feature release. Most
importantly, un-ramped tempo changes were
incorrectly saved as if they were ramped.
This release features diatonic transpose capabilities, support for fretboards in notation, many enhancements to Lilypond export and previewing, a more usable configuration dialog, better support for infrared remote controls via IRKick, and many other enhancements and fixes.
This release contains a number of new features,
notably audio time-stretching support, and many
usability improvements, particularly in the matrix
view. This is also an interesting release from a
developer perspective, because the source code has
been completely reorganized into a new directory
structure with a far more consistent file naming
and organization scheme. The build system was
changed again, from scons to cmake.
This release includes a number of significant new
features, including true multitrack MIDI
recording, ramped tempos, cut and paste of time
ranges across all segments, better Lilypond
output, better support for transposing
instruments, and a database of acoustic instrument
ranges, transpositions, and clefs.
