詳細

activate は文脈によって複数の意味があるが、 マイクロソフトの用語に従って「アクティブ化」されている。

だが、たとえばフォームコントロールのデフォルトのアクションを実行するような場合 （マウスクリックに相当する操作を NVDA+Enter で行うなど） には「アクションの実行」という訳語が自然に思える。

（WEB+DB Press Vol.95 のアクセシビリティ特集でこの言葉が使われていた）

activate を「アクション実行」または「アクションの（を）実行」と翻訳、 ただし、設定プロファイルに関しては「アクティブ化」とする。

ついでに入力ヘルプで点字ディスプレイのキーを押したときのメッセージを 「システムキーボード上の」から「システムキーボードの」に変更。 JTalkだと「システムキーボードウエノ」と読み上げていた。
