It is a memory profiling tool on linux for a performance tuning. It measures memory performance like L1/L2 cache/TLB miss, and so on using by the hardware performance monitoring counters of Pentium 4. (PEBS) It has a linux kernel patch, a command (ebs), a
initial release of xhardmeter.
xhardmeter is a GUI front-end of abyss (for the time being?).
