This release adds permanent-channels support, trim and crop functions
for the sample editor, key-off recording, an SDL output driver, lots of
small bugfixes, and several updated and new translations.
Changes include a new FastTracker-style playlist editor, JACK support, MIDI support for ALSA 0.9, libsndfile support, many bugfixes, and several minor new features.
This is mostly a bugfix release. It includes some
GUI fixes and clean-ups, including a workaround
for responsiveness problems that occurred with
recent GTK+ versions. The "Transpose selection"
function was added, with key bindings similar to
those provided by ImpulseTracker. The XM loader
repairs a couple of popular XM errors on the fly,
fixing some player crashes. French and Swedish
translations were added, and other translations
have been updated.
This release now works with Gtk+ 1.2.10 in suid-root mode, the input and output devices are now configurable for the OSS drivers, and some other subtle bugs have been fixed.
