I am a real beginner. Some of the songs I download do not have begginner modes. Would it be possible to have a mode to slow down songs ? Or would it be possible to at least have the option to have unlimited amounts of misses ? At least I could go through the song :)

JUst noticed this function exist in some versions with loops

Hi Michael,

About play speed, you can change it in CONFIGURATION - System - PlaySpeed. For example, x0.500 means half speed. (Additionally you may prefer to configure CONFIGURATION - System - Sound Option - TimeStretch = On (or Off) to choose better sound. CONFIGURATION - System - Sound Option - Metronome is also very helpful for beginners.)

And also, you can disable STAGE FAILED by CONFIGURATION - System - StageFailed = Off.

Awesome thanks for the answer. I did figure out the speed and the Stage Failed configurations.

Side question... which DTXMania software is the best? Most features, the one devs are still working on.

TimeStretch is effective when PlaySpeed is NOT x1.00, Please try it with PlaySpeed=x0.800 etc.

IMO,

• DTXMania AL has many features, maybe it's current best one, but stopped devs
• DTXMania NX and DTXMania XG Ver.K are arcade-clone like ones, but almost stopped devs
• DTXMania2 is also arcade-style one.
• DTXMania has good backward-compatibilities and stabilities, but has few features (and slow dev speed.) DTXMania has two series ... 100 series and 099 series. 099 series has more compatibilities but less features than 100 series.

I find that sometimes when I hit the clsoed Hi-hat, it makes the left cymbals rings. Even though the inputs are separated

About closed-hihat issue, could you move to the ticket #43405 ? This ticket is used for a settings for beginners, not for crosstalk issue.
