I also noticed this weird behavior and reported the problem to the Japanese SCIM-IMEngine ML. It doesn't happen with scim-anthy and honoka (a new Japanese module for SCIM). I'm waiting for comments from the author. He might be on holidays... > > B) We can't select multiple lines by left click + drag on Kmail. > > > > How to test it: > > 1. Run kmail. > > 2. I have the same problem using scim-anthy and scim-skk. But I can select multiple lines when I use honoka and IMEngines for other languages. > > C) We can't switch SCIM modules by Ctrl+Alt+Up or Ctrl+Alt+Down on > > scim-qtimm. > > > > How to test it: > > 1. I doubt this is a problem in scim-skk as well. I can reproduce this one *without scim-qtimm* on Mandriva's official Qt packages where Qt-immodule is disabled. I uninstalled all scim related packages and then reinstalled only scim-1.2.2 and scim-tables-0.5.1. * In gtk+ apps All SCIM hotkeys work fine unless they conflict with desktop shortcuts. (Ctrl+Alt+l locks session in KDE!) * In Qt apps Hotkeys to show input method menu (Ctrl+Alt+s etc.) work fine and I can select an IMEngine using arrow keys. But hotkeys to switch to the next or previous input method don't work as expected. Here's how they work in Mandriva cooker (Qt3-3.3.4 and KDE 3.4.0). When Hiragana IMEngine is on Ctrl+Alt+Down or Ctrl+Shift > English/European Ctrl+Alt+Down or Ctrl+Shift > English/European (no change) Ctrl+Alt+Up or Shift+Ctrl > RAW CODE Ctrl+Alt+Up or Shift+Ctrl > RAW CODE (no change) Ctrl+Alt+Down or Ctrl+Shift > English/European Apparently they don't cycle all available IMEngines; they only switch between English/European and RAW CODE. I personally don't care about this one (I use hotkeys to directly select an IMEngine) but any idea on what's going wrong? Do you think it's Mandriva's bug?? Thanks. Yukiko P.S. I'm going off-line for several days from tomorrow. So, no more tests until I come back.
