Yate は次世代の電話回線エンジンです。今のところ Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) と PSTN に注力していますが、その本当の力は容易に拡張できることにあります。SIP, H.323, IAX, MGCP, Jingle, Jabber, E1, T1, analogic, Robbed Bit, ISDN PRI, BRI, SS7 をサポートします。YateClient は Jabber/Jingle IM, SIP, H.323, IAX VoIP の各プロトコルで使えるインスタントメッセンジャー・音声アプリケーションです。
