プロジェクト概要

wrt54g-linuxは、Linksys wrt54g 802.11b/gアクセスとポイントとルータのための小さなディストリビューションです。これは、sh、syslog、telnetd、httpd (cgi-binをサポート)、vi、snort、mount、insmod、rmmod、top、grep、find、nfs modulesのような基本的なツールを備えています。インストール・スクリプトは、約20秒で実行し、RAMディスクに正確にインストールされます。インストールをなかったことにするには、単にボックスをリセットします。ディストリビューションをインストールした後は、telnetで中に入り、Webページの追加、iptableルールの変更、ルーティングの変更やsnortの設定などができるようになります。

This release changes the install directory used when loading executables on the box. This change should make the distribution work on boxes where "/var" is read-only. The release works on a version 1 WRT54G box running firmware version 4.00.7. It has also been reported to work on other WRT54G variations, such the GS version of the box. It does not work with WRT54G firmware 4.30.5, nor will it work with version 5 WRT54G boxes.

This release adds two user-contributed pcakages: dropbear, a small SSH daemon, and iptraf, an IP traffic monitoring utility. Neither package is installed by default. To install either, add their files to the "distro.tar" file and modify the wrt54g.sh script to set them up on each install. Additional iptables commands have been added to the startup script to account for PPPOE. There are small cleanups.
