This release focuses on the user interface and connectivity. Proxy support has been added, and a detailed connection wizard now contains all games in the mudmagic list database. An import and export feature allows you to remotely store your aliases, triggers, and macros.
The source code was cleaned up, user interface improvements were made, and support for themes and module addons was added. A recorder and scripting were also implemented. Extensive library bundling was provided for all Linux distributions. autoconf is used to extract and use the bundled libraries.
This release adds MXP support (clickable links, image usage, sound/volume control, and basic HTML tag incorporation). It provides Alias/Trigger command input, and bundles all needed libraries with the source distribution to allow for compiling on any linux OS running GTK. A few minor Windows-related bugs have been fixed. Gamelist download has been compressed for faster downloading. /set and /get variable support have been added for command line input.
A snazzy intro screen was created, configuration settings for text input were installed, and mouse wheel support is now available in scrollback. Python is now shipped with the Windows version to provide a one-package installation process. SqlLite was removed from the primary source. Code cleanups were made.
The scrollback feature is now more user friendly, popup windows default to a reasonable size, and the help window can be maximized and minimized. A ';' now splits commands, while ';;' sends one ';'. ';' expansion can now also be disabled. The ANSI background color code was fixed, some less frequently used ANSI codes were added, the default font was changed to monospace 12, NAWS subnegotiation was fixed, and a new version control system was introduced. The Windows packaging system was rewritten and COMPILE.WINDOWS was updated.
