LiVESは、シンプルですがパワフルなデジタル・ビデオ・アーティストやVJ向けのビデオ・エフェクト、編集、変換及びプレイバック・システムです。これは、Linux、BSD、Mac OS X/Darwin、IRIX及びopenMosix上で動作します。正確なフレームとサンプルで、ビデオのほとんどすべてのタイプを扱うことができます。そして、プラグインと付属されるプラグイン作成ツールにより拡張できます。また、OCSを利用してリモートで制御することができます。
A library versioning issue in version 1.8.1 was corrected.
There is (another) fix for a double typedef compilation error. Tracks in the multitrack window may be renamed.
Bugs with the RFX builder menus,
Resize All Frames,
encoding with resample,
and Append Audio have been fixed.
Several compilation problems have been resolved.
A crash in audio previews (open/append new audio) has been fixed,
and previews in the
fileselector in general are now more responsive. The new effects neural_net,
motion_analyser,
and fourKlives have been added. There is a new interface in the effect mapper window for
making/showing data connections.
German,
Russian, and Ukranian translations have been updated.
Problems with multitrack effects, a crash when re-entering multitrack mode, and a crash in text parameter entry were fixed. Support for compound filters was added. New real-time effects were added: shift, alpha_means, data_processor, and image_stabilizer (requires openCV).
Playback has been optimised by tweaking audio settings. A regression in the backup has been fixed. A floating point fps bug for mkv decoder has been fixed. External window capturing has been rewritten, and now works with Compiz. An (experimental) openGL playback plugin has been added. Minor GUI fixes have been made. Recording of external audio during playback has been implemented. Clip names no longer get squashed in sets. Further code cleanup has been carried out, and there are updated translations to Ukranian, Finnish, and UK English.
