Mukti Normal has been removed due to copyright issues. There are adjustments in the lookup tables, updates to conform to the Unicode v 4.0 standard, init forms for ekaar/aikaar, and all half forms have been made distinct from halant forms.
Latin glyphs looks much better. There are major changes in the OT tables, the conjuncts have been cleaned up and are more organized, a number of new glyphs have been added, and the font has around 650 glyphs now. Finally, Akaash now covers all the Bengali code points as defined in the Unicode specification.
The header file of the font has been corrected so that it works in Windows 2000/XP. The style has been changed to slanted. New conjuncts have been added, and conjuncts have been converted to composite glyphs. There is support for the new Bengali OT specification and preliminary support for Assamese.
