This release adds some important features like the ability to
change the image type, and the film editor to control frames
(add/remove them). A tips window with text and images (like
a mini browsers) was also added, which will be very useful for
beginners. Finally, a lot of features like onionskin, scroll
movement in high-resolution, etc. were improved.
A lot of bugs were fixed. New brush types (circle,
square, line) and modes (opaque, transparent) were
added. The interface was improved with a new GUI
library, support for multiple editors, better
palette handling, and complete scripting support
with Lua.
Support for saving and loading JPEG files, optimized keyframe and properties manipulation, and various new actions including a new color-curve effect were added. A new ASE Library was included, to ease the process of using ASE images in your programs. DLL plug-in support was also added.
