This release fixes a number of annoying bugs and adds a few small features. The ar/html/form module can now return DOM objects. The muze.js library is improved, and a shadow() method was added for pphotos. Bugs in the authentication system, search query compiler, installer, object locking, workflow templates, and the user interface were fixed.
The most important change is the speed; this release is between 2 and 6 times faster. It queues image manipulation commands to prevent DoS attacks. It has an FTP client API, improved gettext/loadtext methods, allows user groups to be created anywhere, and no longer allows creation of a config.ini that breaks the Ariadne backend. Numerous bugs have been quashed.
This release has seen a lot of polish and speed improvements on the new user interface. The Ariadne Generic API has been introduced to make development and extending Ariadne easier and faster to do. A couple of experimental features have been added. All known bugs from the 2.7.0 release have been fixed.
This release has an all new user interface, a new installer (easy and quick), and a new naming scheme on disk. Templates can have SU-style abilities. The Muze Javascript library and changes in multi-language support are included.
This is the last PHP 4 version. It has optional password expiry and SMB authentication. There is a new HTML editor that works with IE7 and 8 under Vista. Finally, there is a new style store interface (mod_ar).
