Msys2: Registry mess
Wondering what, if anything, would break if we just removed installer parts that insert the keys, as a quick fix for the next release(s).
Patch meant to all branches, including S2_6.
Minimal fix. Planning to make bigger rework during next cycle.

Curiously, with msys1 there seems to be no such problem. Maybe related to makensis version then?
I don't have much details yet, but there seems to be problems with how freeciv handles Windows registry keys. The most troubling part is that uninstalling freeciv fails to delete the keys it has inserted.
I hope this is a recent regression (e.g. caused by #46663), and not something that our releases in the wild do.
