SMTP Authentication Pluggable Authentication Module

SMTP-AUTHのアカウント名がメールアドレスと一緒になっている
サーバに対して認証転送をすると＠でuserとrealmに分割されてしまい
転送先のサーバにはuser部分しか転送されずに認証に失敗してしまいます。

何か回避する方法はありますでしょうか。

[pam_smtpauth] LOGIN FAILURE user USERNAME on mail.example.jp:25 => remote authentication server rejected your credentials
do_auth : auth failure: [user=USERNAME] [service=smtp] [realm=example.com] [mech=pam] [reason=PAM auth error]
