A bug which displayed the incorrect bank/channel number when validating
memory channels and didn't validate the last 180 channels has been
fixed. A new file of sample frequencies is included.
This release requires Tcl/Tk version 8.4 or later. The serial port DTR line is held low and users can configure the serial port RTS line. Support was added for the Purple Computing PCL35S RS232-to-TTL cable. Frequencies are now displayed to 10 Hz, e.g., 144.00000 MHz. The serial port will be opened only when required to communicate with the radio. Warnings will be displayed for frequencies which are are not compatible with step size. A bug in the memory channel display logic was fixed.
The user may choose to display memory channel settings using a scrolled window if his computer does not have enough RAM to support the tabbed notebook style display. The tabbed notebook display works best on systems with 512 MB or more RAM. The main window will appear on top of other windows when the program first starts. New headings are displayed for the Limit Search fields. A bug which occurred when a user tried to save the template before opening a template or reading from the radio has been fixed.
Each of the 8 memory banks and 400 memory channels can now have a 20 character alphanumeric label. Labels are saved in the .tr2 file. A new command permits swapping memory banks. The empty Memory Channels window has been removed, and a bug in the Tone Squelch flag logic has been fixed.
tk2 now supports 9 kHz spacing in the AM Broadcast
Band for non-USA IC-R2 models. Offsets of 0.000
and CTCSS tones of 0 will now be supressed from
the view to reduce clutter in the memory channel
window.
