A few new features were added. The most important is the ability to save selected directory trees using compressed tarballs. Another new feature is to schedule specific directory trees to be written only to a backup CD or only to a removable medium.
Some bugs in the build system have been fixed. Functions to include additional directories to a checkpoint have been added. The command line options -i and -S have been added to rab, as well as new interval configuration and a corresponding -I option. This release adds backup to existing directories. A graphical build script has been added.
This release provides a more flexible method to handle failures of cdrecord. The user may either just try again, or they get a shell escape to handle CD burning manually. When changing directory trees to be backed up, it will try to import old backup data to these new directory trees. Some problems installing rab without using RPM are fixed now.
This release provides some bugfixes and introduces three new features. Most importantly, it is now able to ignore specific subdirectories in a recursive directory.
