Improved error handling for developers, speed and efficiency improvements, proper RFC 822 message date, quoted-printable encoding, support for more versions of PHP, better documentation, and multiple small bugfixes.
A Win32 mail header bug, which printed out headers in message body, was fixed.
The date header was changed to work with Netscape mail programs. Enhanced
error-checking was added. Phpdoc documentation was Added to the source. An
optional name for file attachments was added. A sendmail header warning message
was eliminated.
Several Clear* methods like ClearAllRecipients() which clears all To, CC, and BCC addresses from a message, an AddCustomHeader() function that allows users to specify their own special headers, support for Microsoft mail headers, and several bugfixes.
A problem where the body was not being printed
when a message was attached has been fixed. File
names have been changed to class.* to match the
current PHP class trend. This release has several
other small bug fixes.
