Changes to the client include an added sound for private and error messages, the addition of an option to show or hide the button bar, and greater userfriendliness through popping up dialog boxes to query for data instead of displaying an error. New additions to the server include an integrated generic JDBC authentication module, the implementation of idle timeouts and password protected rooms, and the maintenence of a list of the last 5 logins.

Chat windows can now handle clickable hyperlinks. A new applet parameter called "autojoin" was added. A menu item to select a font was added. Some miscellaneous bugs were fixed.
