Mini vMac は、Macintosh Plus（初代 Macintosh の一つ）をエミュレートします。
最近のマシンでは利用出来なかった古い Macintosh ソフトウェアを実行することが可能です。
Mini vMac の実行には ROM イメージファイルが必要となるため、Macintosh Plus を所有している人だけが法的に使用することが出来ます。
新しい機能の 1 つである「AutoSlow」ポータブル コンピューター バッテリを維持するために。また、タイミングの精度が向上実行速度 x 86 では、高速、他の多くの改善があります。

One new feature is "AutoSlow" to help preserve the battery on portable computers. Also, accuracy of timing is improved, execution speed is faster on x86, and there are numerous other improvements.
The main work since 3.0.4 has been on Macintosh II emulation, which is not yet complete, but also the default Macintosh Plus emulation is a bit faster and smoother. One fun new feature is a compile time option to emulate a hacked Macintosh Plus with larger screen sizes.
This release has localized versions for French, Italian, and German, and has a native Intel Macintosh version. More minor changes include an improved stopped mode and some better error reporting.
Mini vMac now has more advanced control of speed,
superseding the previous "limit speed" option.
Other highlights are an experimental compile time
option for sound in the Linux version, and that
the Windows version is up to 40 percent faster by
simply using a better C compiler.
