プロジェクト概要

makeselfはディレクトリから自己解凍圧縮されたtarアーカイブを生成する小さなシェルスクリプトです。結果のファイルはシェルスクリプトとして表示され、そのまま起動できます。アーカイブには、一時ディレクトリに自身を解凍し、任意のコマンド（たとえば、インストール·スクリプト）が実行されます。これは、Windowsの世界ではWinZip Self-Extractorので生成されたアーカイブにはかなり似ています。
