It is now possible to create complex text searches
or seller searches, or to load auctions from any
URL. The searches can then be scheduled to repeat
regularly. 'View in Browser' can now go to your
local eBay site (e.g. ebay.de, ebay.co.uk, etc.).
Visual identification of what's being updated and
what's been added recently was added. Many
toolbar, keybinding, and UI improvements were
made. The 'My eBay' page changed its URL format
for item links. JBidwatcher was adapted to
recognize it, and those searches can also be
scheduled. Sort-by-current price now sorts non-US
currencies as their US value. Many more minor
bugfixes were also made.
eBay changed their 'official time' page, which
broke time synchronization with them. This caused
snipes to be off, either before by some amount, or
worse, after. This version fixes that problem,
moves configuration files, and save files to a
central user-specific location per-platform. Drag
and drop from some international sites works, and
comments on auctions will show up in your tooltip.
Many more features and bugfixes were added.
eBay changed the way currencies are displayed, which broke Euro recognition. Bidding and sniping still worked, but the display was bad. This version also fixes several minor UI bugs, and adds several features, including a nicer status display, some pretty icons in place of ugly checkboxes, and a little better performance on MacOS X.
eBay changed the bidding method on their site, requiring an update (this is a required update if you're doing sniping or bidding through JBidwatcher). This version also fixes several minor eBay and UI bugs, and adds bidding on dutch auctions, reverse-sorting, performing eBay searches, and more. It's been tested on MacOSX, Windows, and Linux.
The problem of auctions getting 'stuck' in the
current auctions tab, auctions duplicating in
memory, and several other bugs were fixed, in
addition to the massive amount of fixes made
during the pre-release series. A UI configuration
option was added to the General tab, allowing you
to choose the behavior of a double-click. It still
defaults to updating, but you can easily change it
to open in a browser. Many bugfixes and feature
additions were made since version 0.7. This
version is a highly recommended upgrade.
