This release patches bugs that many users of Python 2.3 experienced. Support has been added for the latest features of IceWM 1.2.14 / 1.2.15. A French translation has been added, and the Russian translation has been updated.
This release is the first stable PyGtk-2 port. It adds a partial French translation, fixes a major installation bug, and resolves an issue with font loading. It also fixes bugs involving the incorrect display of color samples, problems launching external applications, and mislabeled properties.
Thr program is now compatible with IceWM 1.2.8
and the translation catalogs were cleaned up.
The program can now be run as root and features
a Traditional Chinese translation and a Russian
help file. The Russian and Spanish translations
were updated, and the English and Spanish help
files were updated and corrected. The file
selection dialogs are now more
keyboard-friendly.
IcePref2 now has a search feature. Several bugs have been fixed. Numerous corrections have been made to the Spanish language translations. The start-up speed has been greatly improved when running in single-module mode. Individual modules can now be embedded in other applications. The shell scripts for launching individual modules have been fixed. This release contains preliminary support for IceWM 1.2.8pre2. Several user interface improvements have been made. Drag-and-drop support for colors is now available.
A small start-up splash screen has been added. Russian language support has been added to this release. An internal help system has been added with support for both English and Spanish. Keyboard shortcut support has been greatly improved. Many additional popup hints have been added.
