This release adds a VESA mode for the CLI. There are many memory corruption fixes. Grub2 detection is fixed. Improved CPU detection on older hardware. Memory detection using DMI type 6 on older hardware is fixed. Support in the gzip format for modules.pcimap, modules.alias, and pci.ids. Detection of memory size via E820. A simple menu has been added for binary images. Better CPU flags detection. CPU multi-core detection. Reporting of CPU L1 and L2 cache and voltage. Overly aggressive disk size computation is avoided. gPXE detection. CLI history behavior is fixed.
This release reports CPU L1 and L2 cache, CPU hardware virtualization, CPU cores, and more CPU flags. It fixes memory and grub2 detection. The history mode has been reworked to avoid corruption. The user can override the VESA background, and switch to text/VESA mode via an integrated command.
