GNU Backgammon

Numerous changes were made, including 3D boards, translations to 10+ languages, extendable rollouts, time controls, an improved neural net, improved analysis, new RNGs, sounds, and lots more.

Cubeful rollouts have been added. The chequers in the board window may now be animated. Several more file formats for importing/exporting are now supported. Several other new features have been added, and various bugfixes made.

Manual and automatic annotation (analysis, commentary and statistics) have been added. Many smaller features and bug fixes have been implemented.

This release adds cubeful evaluations (for match and session play),
loading and saving of positions, games, and matches in various
formats, an optional GTK+ interface, optional Guile support, and much
more.

Several bug fixes, basic X11 support, and preliminary position database handling.
