GeomSpace now has its own binary file format, allowing you to open, modify, save, and redistribute geometric models. Some example models are available in the "Models" folder of the project's Web site.
With this version you can do a real job of finding point coordinates and linear repers. A new quick help info box is now available. The geometry transform feature isn't completed yet. All versions except FreeBSD ones explicitly use freeglut instead of glut.
This release changes the display of list-based OpenGL graphics to more dynamic friendly vertex array. More important, the geometry part of the project, the glue between the algebra and graphics, is taking shape, so the GeomSpace file format can be finally defined and the I/O part will be filled. It seems that all blockers are past and further progress should be quicker.
