プロジェクト概要

G4Lは、ハードディスクやパーティションのイメージを取りクローンを作成するためのツールです。作成されたイメージは、圧縮することもできます。また、ローカルのハードドライブに保存したり、匿名FTPサーバーに転送したりすることもできます。ドライブのクローンを取るのは、「Click'n'Clone」（クリックだけでクローンを取る）機能です。G4Lは、ローカルのファイルシステムが2GB以上のファイルの書き込みをサポートしていない場合には、分割して保存する機能ももっています。搭載されたカーネルは、ATAとシリアルATA、SCSIドライブをサポートしています。また、一般的なネットワークカードをサポートしています。G4Lは、容易に使用可能なように、ncursesのGUIを搭載したブータブルCDイメージとしてパッケージ提供されています。
