This version adds support for a lot of new monitors, and uses generic profiles if your monitor is not supported yet. It also adds support for VIA and SiS graphics cards.
This version includes a Gnome Panel Applet to switch between monitor profiles, i.e. load some monitor parameters (like brightness and contrast) that you saved before. Some minor features have also been added, like better multi-screen support. ddccontrol-db should also be upgraded, as support for many monitors has been added.
This release adds some major new features. It is
now possible to save the value of some monitor
parameters in a profile and restore these later. A
new fullscreen pattern has been added to help the
user to adjust brightness and contrast parameters.
The database (ddccontrol-db package) was also
updated to add support for Samsung 712N and 912N.
This release adds support for Intel chipsets with integrated graphics controllers. The database (ddccontrol-db package) was also updated to support Fujitsu Siemens P17-2, P19-2, P20-2, and Samsung 173P+.
