Different compression programs are now allowed. mdadm is now run only if RAID devices actually exist. duplicity now defaults to using --full-if-older-than, and the --extra-clean option is used. The example.dup documentation was miproved. A ftp_password option was added for securely transmitting the FTP password. Tables in the information_schema database are no longer locked. The code logic was fixed to make dbusername/dbpassword actually usable. rsync lockfile checks were fixed, preventing multiple instances of the same rsync job from running in parallel. The program now avoids passing the remote user to rsync-over-ssh twice. An SSL option was added for LDAP.
