AutoNap can share MP3s, the login procedure has been improved so that AutoNap is no longer depending on the availabity of napigator's server list, and the -S switch has been fixed so logging on to specified single servers works for the first time.
This release includes a mechanism to protect
AutoNap's daemon against connections from clients
whose IP's are not in one or more given ranges,
and fixes a parsing error in the automode config
file, wrong recognition of linespeed when
'rsearch'ing, and the procedure of registering a
new account.
A new client/server model allowing to Access
AutoNap either remotely or locally via TCP/IP, a
client-application which adds some conveniences
like command-history, etc., ability to perform a
'whois' on users, and increased verbosity. There
are no security mechanisms yet, so AutoNap should
never run as root in daemon-mode.
Two bugs have been wiped out, one causing AutoNap
to ignore the download-directory given to it and
the other one making it download each song as
often as there were rnd_exclude_patterns.
