The current official release of POPFile (0.20.1a) is normally run using the
popfile.exe program which checks the foreground/background and system tray
icon enable/disable settings in popfile.cfg and runs one of the popfile*.exe
programs (popfilef.exe, popfileb.exe, popfileif.exe or popfileib.exe).
POPFile 0.21.0 uses two new environment variables (POPFILE_ROOT and
POPFILE_USER) to specify the locations of the main POPFile program folder
and the folder used to store the user's configuration data (popfile.cfg,
the log files, the corpus etc).
For this test version, some 'fake' popfile*.exe programs are supplied but
none of these fakes can display the system tray icon (I am unable to rebuild
the real versions of these programs).
