This release corrects a major bug in the signature
building process for Code objects that froze the
execution handler for primitives accepting all
argument types.
The profiling module Mod_prof has been added, implying a reorganisation of Obj_code management. Major argument checking bugs have been corrected in the Mod_exec module.
Accessors and memory management failsafes have been added to the
exception framework. Exception freeing has been cleaned, with reference
counting to prevent double-frees. Minor additions have been made to the
Splash interface, and documented.
A lot of changes were made to the interface. Most of the pixmaps were updated to be more ergonomic. The help system has been reorganized: a synthetic help browser using a notebook has been added, with specific primitives help. Minor bugs were corrected (a hanging bug on runtime error reporting and an infinite loop when loading modules detected from environment variables). Modules can now be loaded from the module list.
