Calls to deprecated functions in PHP 5.3 and later have been replaced. The minimum PHP version was changed to 4.4.7. Built-in support was added for JavaScript frameworks and AJAX (and jQuery is included by default). Many UI improvements were made, including layout, CSS classes, and Tango icons. Xaraya can now generate HTTPS URLs, as well as 4xx and 5xx HTTP headers. A new dedicated Installer theme was added. All template filenames now use .xt by default (though .xd is still supported). A total of 94 distinct bugs have been fixed.
This release candidate is a feature-complete development release leading up to 1.2.0. Upgrade code is now in place. Function calls deprecated in PHP 5.3 have been replaced. Xaraya can now send 4xx and 5xx HTTP response headers. Seven additional bugs have been fixed since beta 1.

The PHP requirement has been raised to 4.4.7. Support has been added for JavaScript frameworks, with jQuery and some plugins included by default. UI enhancements based on jQuery, with much less obtrusive JS. Template file names now default to .xt. The ability to produce HTTPS URLs on demand in xarModURL has been added. A new Installer theme has been added. Tango icons have been used throughout the UI. Over 70 bugs have been fixed.
Enhancements include a fix for an undefined $tplData error under PHP 5.2.6+ and the ability for a session to have more than one active authkey (useful for AJAX). The roles -> getallactive user API function now returns a consistent data type. 17 bugs were fixed.
This release includes more XHTML correctness and a new OrderSelect Dynamic Data Property and removes duplicate entries in CACHEKEYS when a new entry added. Numerous bugs were fixed.
