WebTst

This is a major bugfix release, and upgrading is highly recommended for existing users. Support was added for XML::Dumper 0.4 (backwards compatibility) and above, and an upgrade script was developed. Major fixes were made to handling of interceptor responses (content transfer chunking, status 100 handling). Post body content storage was reworked to allow for binary data types. The dashboard interface was reworked to allow downloading and viewing of post bodies. Interceptor was fixed to properly capture HTTPS hostnames. A minor fix was made to the playback_results directory location when running multiple recordings via suiteRunner.pl.

Fixes were made to interceptor.pl. A leftover
zombie issue was eliminated. Request hangs are
prevented in some extreme cases. Host and port
determination in interceptor.pl were fixed. The
"HEADERS_PATTERN_SUCCESS" and
"HEADERS_PATTERN_FAIL" out-of-the box tests were
added.

This version provides important fixes to the
interceptor component and small fixes to other
components. Users of WebTst are encoraged to
upgrade to this bugfix version.

WebTst now supports capturing HTTPS via an
interceptor server implementation. mod_perl has
been dropped from the dependencies, simplifying
the installation process. Performance was improved
in capturing. A manual was added to the
distribution. A new WebTst user creation script
was added for easier user setup. A repository of
required packages was added for easier
installation.

This version supports the concept of result analysers via a plug-in approach of placing Perl packages into custom results analyser directories following an established API. Support for three out-of-the-box results analysers was added: XML dump, process/time/step line graphic, and process/time/step bar graphic. Overall intercepting performance was improved, favicon support was added, and small bugfixes were made.
