A few new keyboard shortcuts involving the Alt key were added. Areas of the map that you can't see are now darkened. It is now possible to put multiple weapon turrets on a single tank. Game balance has been improved.
This release has a new anti-cheating mechanism. Game balance has been improved: Anti-air is more effective, and truck rushes are harder to do. Performance has been improved on ATI video cards. Some bugs and crashes have been fixed.
Many multiplayer balance changes were made, including new uses for old weapons and a new Radar Detector turret. Videos from the original game are included. Multiplayer games can be password-protected. A new logo and icon were added. The game now uses port 2100.
