Support for an 'Accept Chat / Leave Chat' feature was added to allow operators to view chats without joining them. Several classes were reorganised / rewritten to improve code clarity. The annoying "dropped network connection when extended ASCII is entered" bug was fixed by adding support for the ISO-8859-1 character set.
This release has moved to Java 1.5 and dropped 1.4 support. The "improper logout when browser changes page" bug has been fixed. The "crash with leading newline character in banlist.cfg" bug has been fixed. A help dialog box and a "lift ban" feature have been added for operators. Protocol documentation has been updated to include the LIST_BANS and UNBAN commands. The redundant "reload server banlist" option has been removed.
This release fixes a US-ASCII charset bug. It changes the
config files to an XML format for flexibility. It also cleans up the
code, replacing manual linked lists with Java collections. It adds
message logging support, new icons to indicate conversations
you're currently watching, an option to stop watching a
conversation, and a "kick" feature to disconnect users without a
permanent ban.
