The serials class has been added and is workable. Permissions or librarian management functionality has been added. The settings class has been added, making conf.php obsolete. The installer functionality has been updated (a new Web-based installer).
An advanced search function was implemented, which
can use AND, OR, NOT, search limits, and supports
more than one keyword search. The tags table has
been updated from
http://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/. The
appearance of the summary view and the detailed
view search results was improved.
Cataloging was enhanced. Advanced searching is
under development. Basic searching has been done.
The cataloging module has been totally replaced.
The base code has been laid out. Ongoing
improvements and bugfixes have been made.
The inventory report is output in 3x5 inches
catalog format. In addition, it also outputs 8x14
numerous inventory reports. The Import Record has
been modified to fully support the MARC importing
methods. The Maintenance Links have also been
added, which facilitate the backup/restore process
of MARC Records. Finally, the new automatic
installation method has been applied. This version
is a full-fledged webhosting-friendly application.
