プロジェクト概要

NET-SNMP （旧 UCD-SNMP) パッケージには、拡張可能なエージェント、SNMPライブラリ、SNMPエージェントに情報を要求または設定するツール、SNMPトラップを生成/処理するツール、SNMPを使用したnetstatコマンド、Tk/perl mibブラウザーを含む、簡易ネットワーク管理プロトコル関連の様々なツールが含まれています。カーネギー・メロン大学のSNMP実装(バージョン 2.1.2.1) に基づいていましたが、大幅に強化、移植、修正がされ、殆ど元のパッケージには似ていません。

There is better support for OpenBSD, Darwin, and Solaris. There are miscellaneous fixes for libwrap, OpenSSL, and AgentX (memory leaks). snmpd performs proper daemonization, and ifSpeed is calculated in a better way under Linux. There are many other miscellaneous fixes.
