This release fixes bugs in the --add and --proxy options; users could
use Lin-setibuf's variables while defining other variables or
metacommands in the last release. The --cycle option now begins the
stack run anew. The internals have been reviewed. A contrib/
directory has been created for scripts/add-ons. Parallel download is
now used for work units.
This is a stable release (all known bugs are fixed). A bug has been fixed in the Kill sub. Command variables have been added. The reference manual has been created. Lines in the configuration file can now be split. Logging via syslog(3perl) has been enabled. Status is also affected by the from-wu and to-wu options.
This release has been modified for compliance with the SETI modules. The 'seticlient_path' variable now refers to the directory in which the SETI@Home client is located. There is an enhanced status display. The `install.pl' script has been modified. A new command line option '--proxy': overrides the 'proxy_address' variable value. A new command line option '--rand-start' selects a random unit to begin. A new status display now shows the estimated remaining time before unit completion and best performances up to date. A possible buffer overflow cause in log_action() has been fixed.
This release changes the "--test" option to "--status", mails a report
(with some stats) on WU analysis completion, adds new "--client"
(which overrides "seticlient_path") and "--to-wu" options, and makes
"--verbos" incremental.
