ledmail

Minor bugfixes including better IMAP support, a new '-q' option for less syslog output, and fixes for some compile time warnings that appeared under Red Hat 7.1.

In response to a number of users requests, there is now a '-c' option to allow the config file to be loaded from alternative locations. This allows user installs.

Many small bugfixes, wrapping read() with select() so that reads cannot block forever stalling the application, modularised code, and mail checking routines dynamically load modules. The format of ledmail.conf was changed, and the man pages were updated to detail all this. There is also an all as new option for some accounts, where the total count of all messages can be used as the mail count.

Support for IMAP4 servers was added, as well as command line options for check interval and flash rate. The man pages were updated. A few other minor bugs were fixed, some as a result of bug reports. The program is now licenced under the terms of the GPL. The structure of /etc/ledmail.conf was modified.

A number of small bugfixes, including a file descriptor leak and a problem whereby ledmail refused to check mail accounts that could not be checked when first started up, and a number of 'under the bonnet' changes (POP3 checking functions are in their own file). Most changes are in preparation for IMAP support.
