JDemo has been updated to be more compatible and similar to JUnit 4: it contains a new @Demo annotation that can be used to mark methods as demo methods. This release includes a DemoAsTestRunner that can be used to run demos as JUnit 4 tests. The JDemo framework and the Eclipse plugin are now based on JDK 1.6, and contain some minor improvements.
The implementation has been updated to JDK 1.5. It
now provides improved compatibility to JUnit 4.4:
There is a new JDemoSuiteClassRunner for running
demos as JUnit 4.4 tests. Also, a few bugs have
been fixed and a new plugin for Eclipse 3.3 (or
greater) is available.
This version mainly contains usability improvements: After
startup the first demo case in the tree is selected
automatically. Some of the actions from the context menus
are now also available in the 'Edit' menu and have keyboard
shortcuts assigned to them. The release also contains
important bugfixes, such as for a bug where DemoRunner
froze while the SWT demo shell was on the screen.
Error messages in Ant tasks have been improved. The source path uses the correct path separator. Examples have been updated, and there are minor bugfixes.
