his release uses version 1.1.4 of the Python Imaging
library for EXIF extraction, but works fine with earlier
versions. Processing info was enhanced, some code
was refactored, and sanity checks were added. The
documentation was expanded and debugged.
New features include comments in an XML file, source- and destination directories with a recursive option, and a simple GUI that exposes the most frequently used features. Date information is extracted from pictures if it is available. An easy installation program can now be used on Windows.
This release includes optimization when recursing, doesn't rename files, adds changes to the progress indicator, the help screen now shows [--recursive] and [--add] options, and a spelling error was fixed.
There is a new -r option to recurse directories. This release will set the title from gallery.title.txt if present in the directory. If no title is given or the title file is not found, it will use the name of the directory as a title.
