This release requires libconfig 1.3.0 (fixing
compliation problems
with libconfig on Windows), fixes namespace
incompatibility with
libsigc++ versions greater than 2.0.x, fixes a bug
in search path order
which affected a personal order bug under Windows,
improves scrolling
and fixes scrolling problems under Windows, adds
pkg-config to the
prerequisites (it is needed to check for libsigc++
and libconfig and set
flags properly), and makes fDynasties work on both
Window and Linux.
You can now change between fullscreen and windowed mode. The map editor has an improved dialog for adding new player start positions and better graphics for representing a player's start position. FTK (fDynasties Tool-Kit) was introduced. The theme was improved. A directory containing personal data such as maps and configurations is now supported. The structure of the implementation was improved.
Combatants can change their active weapon. A general can found formations and troops and disband formations, and an officer can found troops. Troops can be added to and ejected from a formation. Information about the members of a formation and a troop can be shown. Your king has a formation inheriting a settler at the beginning. Settlements (rudimentary) have been added. A settler can found a settlement. There are improved terrain images and new equipment images. Some problems under Windows while compiling have been fixed.
