This version adds PHP support, so you can start the CGI-Shell server with PHP if you don't have CGI on your Web server. A configuration file has been added.
This version is a complete re-write in C. It provides a real
shell, starting a little server on the Webserver and
connecting to it. It works fine for almost all programs,
including vi, more, man, passwd, etc.
In this version, it is possible to set aliases in cgi-
shell.rc. Moreover, people whose Web server
configuration allows only *.cgi programs (but no *.pl)
can use cgi-shell now with the -cgi option.
This version contains some bugfixes and small improvements. Moreover a PHP-variant is now available, which means that you can also use CGI-Shell if your Web server supports PHP, even if it doesn't provide you with CGI access.
