Escuelas Linux publishes a Fix Pack for its 7.4 version.
This Fix Pack addresses two issues:
-OBS Studio crashed when trying to do any task-
Escuelas Linux includes recent versions of some FFmpeg libraries (libavcodec, libavdevice, libavfilter, libavformat, and libavutil) because they are necessary to run current versions of Blender. However, that upgrade had unintended collateral damage for the OBS Studio app, which refused to run correctly if those libraries were not in the same version this app expected.
To solve this issue, we include an AppImage created by ourselves in this Fix Pack so that OBS Studio would run just fine without any dependencies issues.
Our AppImage can run on any Linux, so it could be also useful for people using other distributions in which a recent version of OBS is not available. This AppImage can be extracted from the debs/other directory of the Fix Pack.
-The “Configure printers” app hangs when selecting another driver for a printer-
If you needed to change a printer driver, system-config-printer would merely hang. In this Fix Pack we include some deb packages that solve this issue.
